2024 AGM URBNSURF

We would love you and your family to join us at our 2024 Annual Getaway and AGM!

This year we will try something different by meeting and surfing at our beloved sponsor URBNSURF Melbourne! Lock your calendars for 23rd - 24th November 2024.

We have some fun organised events planned, and lots time to relax, eat, play, chat, laugh, catch some perfect waves ....and this time you won't even end up with a car full of sand!

Our team are working on a series of super cool events for parents and kids. We'll have a dedicated area for Surfing Mums families to hang out, leave our stuff, kids to play and nap, etc. URBNSURF will release the session schedule about 1 month prior. Remember we have a 10% discount for SM members! We will organise meals and other activities around the preferred session times.

Once we get an idea of numbers, we will be able to provide more details on the various options. We will communicate updates via the Facebook group, which members can also use to chat among themselves to organise accommodation and other details. Let us know you are coming by joining the group and/or emaling lifestyle@surfingmum.com. Feel free to shoot any questions over too! 

Friday 22nd November

Afternoon - evening. Meet and greet at the hotel. Surf for those who get there early enough or head into town for a boogie night.

Saturday 23rd November

Early morning: Welcome those flying in. Breakfast and gear up. 

Midday-Afternoon:

• Surf a range of wave types, from Cruiser to Advance, and play in the bays for novices and kids.
• Surf coaching organised by SM (TBC based on numbers)
• Casual lunch
• Kids' fun games in the playground

Evening:

• Annual General Meeting: not as boring as it sounds! Actually, a great way to meet mums from all over the country! Video-link to others interstate
• Sit, chat and get your hair down!  Dinner at 3 Blue Ducks
• Kids entertainment
• Optional late night surf...or night in the city

Sunday 24th November

Morning: 

• Yoga (SM provided) 
• Surf
• Relax in the hot tubs, have a coffee, play with kids, nap

Midday

• Brunch
• Fun awards and Raffle prizes including GSI-soponsored boards and more !

Afternoon

• Surf again if you have time
• Cheers and see you next year!
